Geauga Lake Ride Ops Fired After Not Closing Coaster Restraints
Three ride operators at Geauga Lake have been fired after they let the Double Loop coaster dispatch without locking the restraints. Like all old Arrow coasters, each car has a foot pedal that must be pushed down to open and pushed up to lock the restraints. It seems the Ops didn't do that so a electronic sensor noticed and stopped the ride before it left the station. It is always nice to know that even on old rides there are always plenty of safety features.

On a personal note, I am back from my California vacation. I visited three parks and I will have full write ups of them in the coming days.
