Disney Dissidents End Bid to Oust Eisner
Roy Disney and Stanley Gold have ended their campaign against Eisner. In the last half year they did seem to be losing focus, but let's not forget what they did in their peak.
They got an OVERWHELMING shareholder vote agianst Eisner and forced him to give up the Chairman position.
The (most likely) got Eisner to announce his retirement.
They got plenty of press to the problems at Disney.
So it was a good cause that has mostly filled its mission. They only thing more they could have done was get Eisner to leave the company ASAP and bring Walt back from the dead. I think a Walt zombie had more of a chance.
